At Blowes Clothing, our roots have been firmly planted in regional New South Wales since 1936. We’ve always believed that being a part of a community means showing up for one another, especially when times get tough. That is why Blowes Clothing is proud to support Wings4Kidz, an extraordinary charity dedicated to ensuring that geographic location never stands in the way of a child receiving life-saving medical care.
As we look toward April 2026, a sea of red Postie Bikes is set to roar across our regional landscape for a vital cause. We invite our customers and friends to join us in supporting this mission, helping provide a lifeline to families who need it most.
About Wings4Kidz: A Lifeline in the Sky
For families living in regional and rural Australia, a medical diagnosis for a child comes with an added layer of stress: the tyranny of distance. Specialist paediatric treatment is often located hundreds, if not thousands, of kilometres away in major cities.
Wings4Kidz provides air and road transport for sick children and their families, completely free of charge.
This not-for-profit organisation ensures that rural children can access vital medical treatment without the added burden of grueling ten-hour drives or the prohibitive costs of commercial travel. By providing professional, reliable transport, Wings4Kidz gives families reassurance and the ability to focus entirely on their child’s health.
The impact is real and growing. Thanks to ongoing community support, Wings4Kidz has been able to expand its reach, growing from supporting 70 rural families to now helping over 140 families navigate their healthcare journeys.
800km for a Cause: The April 2026 Postie Bike Ride
Fe-Mail Postie Bike Ride - 2024 from Sue Hughes Postie Club CT110 NBC110 Lambda Motorcycles Australia
There is something uniquely Australian about the sight of a Postie Bike, and in April 2026, 85 women will ride Postie Bikes over 800km to raise funds and awareness for Wings4Kidz.
This inspiring four-day journey - the "Never Late Fe-Mail Postie Bike Ride" - will depart from Orange, passing through the heart of our Blowes Clothing communities in Bathurst, Mudgee, and Wellington, before making a grand return to Dubbo. These 85 riders are more than just enthusiasts; they are champions for rural health, braving the elements and the long road to ensure no child is left behind.
The riders will stop at Blowes Clothing stores along their ride where the route permits. These stops will be a fantastic opportunity for the local community to gather, cheer on the riders, and witness the incredible spirit of the Tori’s Angels team in person.
The Story of Tori’s Angels
Behind every great fundraising effort is a story that touches the heart. The "Tori’s Angels" team was born out of a deep sense of gratitude. The team is named after Tori, a brave young girl living with Tuberous Sclerosis.
Tori and her family regularly rely on Wings4Kidz services to access the specialist care she requires. Seeing firsthand the difference this service made in their lives, Tori’s family and friends formed "Tori’s Angels" to give back. Whether it’s through the Tori’s Angels Charity Ball or participating in the Postie Bike rides, every dollar raised by this team goes directly to Wings4Kidz to keep their planes in the air and their cars on the road.
A Grand Prize for a Great Cause: Blowes Clothing’s Donation
To help the Tori’s Angels team reach their ambitious goals for the 2026 ride, Blowes Clothing wanted to contribute something truly special. We are excited to announce that Blowes Clothing has donated a R.M.Williams overnight bag valued at AUD $799 for the charity fundraising event.
Crafted from premium leather and designed to last a lifetime, this iconic R.M.Williams piece is the perfect symbol of the enduring support we have for our regional neighbours.
Donations are accepted at any of the five Blowes Clothing stores. Whether you are shopping in Orange, Mudgee, Bathurst, Dubbo, or Wagga Wagga, you can contribute to the fundraiser at our counters. Every cent collected goes toward the Wings4Kidz mission, directly impacting the lives of children like Tori.

Blowes Clothing is honoured to play a small part in that journey. Through the generosity of our customers and the dedication of the 85 women taking to the road this April, we can ensure that vital medical treatment remains accessible to all.
