Join Our Team - Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist

Location: Orange, NSW, Head Office
Type: Part-time (up to 28 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $28 – $37 per hour (based on experience)

The role

As our Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of shaping Blowes Clothing’s online presence. You’ll manage and optimise our activity across Instagram, Facebook, and email campaigns - including building and maintaining automated flows that drive engagement and sales.

This role goes beyond posting content: you’ll help strengthen our customer loyalty program by creating engaging communications that educate and excite customers about the benefits of Blowes Plus Rewards. You’ll also bring ideas around UX, UI, CX, and website improvements to create a seamless customer journey.

You’ll report directly to the eCommerce & Marketing Manager, working closely together to plan, share ideas, and deliver campaigns as part of a collaborative team.

Based in Orange, NSW, the role requires on-site tasks such as photography, filming reels, and viewing new stock, with occasional opportunities to work from home.

About you

You’re a digital storyteller with a strong creative streak and a genuine love of fashion. You don’t just post content - you think strategically about how customers interact with the brand across every touchpoint, from social feeds to loyalty engagement.

  • Previous experience in digital marketing and social media management
  • Solid understanding of the Meta Ads platform (preferred, not essential)
  • Proficiency in Canva (or another design tool) for social and email graphics
  • Strong written and visual communication skills
  • Experience managing email flows and campaigns
  • Interest in building loyalty programs and educating customers on their benefits
  • An eye for UX, UI, and CX, with a willingness to share ideas on improving the online experience
  • Proactive approach to learning and keeping up with industry trends, tools, and updates
  • Organised, adaptable, and collaborative - able to bring fresh ideas and work closely in a small team to shape strategy
  • Passion for style and brand storytelling through content
  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience),
  • Must have right to work in Australia

What you’ll do

  • Manage and optimise Blowes Clothing’s digital presence on Instagram, Facebook, Meta Ads and email campaigns
  • Plan, run, and optimise Meta Ads; test creative and audiences, and report on results
  • Build and maintain automated email flows with effective segmentation, QA, and UTMs
  • Create and manage content assets - graphics, reels, video, and photography - and keep an organised content library
  • Assist with seasonal photo shoots and campaign imagery
  • Leverage platform-specific features to maximise reach and engagement
  • Analyse performance metrics (reach, engagement, list growth, CTR, ROAS/conversions) and recommend refinements
  • Collaborate with the eCommerce & Marketing Manager, contributing ideas for integrated campaigns
  • Support the growth of Blowes Plus Rewards with campaigns and content that educate and engage customers
  • Contribute UX, UI, and CX improvement ideas, ensuring digital channels support the full customer journey
  • Continuously apply industry insights and new tools to improve strategy and execution
